Roberts did second marriage with Barry Roberts. Barry took on his career as a scriptwriter and Tanya commenced studies at the Actors’ Studio with Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen. After doing television commercials for a while, Tanya made an entry into films. Her first film was a thriller named Forced Entry. This was followed by a host of good films such The Yum-Yum Girls, Fingers, Tourist Trap, Chuck Connors, Racket etc.
However, big popularity came Roberts’s way when she replaced Shelley Hack in Charlie’s Angels. Soon Roberts was chosen for the cover page of the People magazine and was offered several lucrative projects. In 1982 Tanya also appeared on the cover page of the Playboy for the promotion of her The Beastmaster movie. In 1991 Roberts came up with another hit named Inner Sanctrum.
In her personal life Tanya lived happily until 2006 when Barry Roberts died after a struggling with encephalitis for 4 years. He and Tanya lived 32 successful years of marriage.
