One of the versatile Hollywood actresses known for her wonderful performances in Charlie’s Angels, The Beastmaster, Sheen, A View to Kill and That 70’s show, Tanya Roberts hails from Bronx, New York City, USA.
Her father is an Irish American pen seller and her mother is a Jewish American woman. However the couple got divorced at the time Tanya went to high school. The victim of a broken family, Tanya dropped out from school at the early age of 15 to get married and lived in hitchhiking across the United States. But soon the relationship got snapped due to the guy’s mother. Roberts continued to live in New York and took up modeling and dance teaching with Arthur Murray.
Roberts did second marriage with Barry Roberts. Barry took on his career as a scriptwriter and Tanya commenced studies at the Actors’ Studio with Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen. After doing television commercials for a while, Tanya made an entry into films. Her first film was a thriller named Forced Entry.
